I also feel the store page is a bit cluttered and crammed. maybe that's just because I'm used to the old app layout. While I can see the probable reason for it being done that way, I was kind of confused and lost at first. especially when the first thing you open to is the QR Scanner. I like the direction you guys are heading but I still feel the UI is a bit cluttered, quite easy to get lost for a second. While I'm glad the app is finally updated I feel it's still flawed in some ways. One of the reasons there is a minimal is so Valve can ensure they do not lose money from the transaction. With the free Steam Mobile App, you can take Steam with you anywhere. If you still had the $5, Valve would have been able to refund it, but you spent some of it already.īesides, Valve had to pay a fee to the credit card just to get the $5 into your account (a flat fee + a % fee) and they would have to pay to send it back. It is the same if you purchase a gift card or for store credit. I could understand not being able to take out money that you made directly on steam, but when it comes to your own hard earned money it should be different. wow, that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks, they should change that. You agreed to this, by the way, and Valve will hold you to your word. So "Steam Wallet funds do not constitute a personal property right" - in other words, you have no claim to them and Valve are under no obligation to let you use that balance for anything other than buying Steam content and services. Don't believe me? Have a closer look at the SSA that you agreed to when you created the account - last paragraph of section 3.C. That Steam Wallet balance on your account? It's not yours.
